Bavaria 34
Only one owner since NEW
The Bavaria 34 is a modern performance cruiser/racer. Comfortable and spacious enough for extended live aboard cruises, and with a good turn of speed is equally at home on the club racing scene.
The B34 feels surprisingly large for a 34. This is partly due to the modern voluminous design and partly due to the fact that the yacht is actually 35’2″ LOA.
With a furling headsail and stack pack on the mainsail, the boat is very easily sailed by a couple or single handed. The winches have been thoughtfully positioned in easy reach from behind the helm. The cockpit is clean and uncluttered and has a very practical layout, making the boat a pleasure to sail.
The electric swim platform is one of the standout features of this design. It lowers and raises at the touch of a button. This brilliant design feature eliminates the need for a sugar scoop transom and the additional space is utilized for a larger cockpit and saloon.
Down below the interior is stunning. Bavaria have incorporated a generous amount of light Mahogany timber that gives the interior a bright warm welcoming feeling. The saloon is bathed in natural light from the numerous hatches, and the addition of port holes in the hull provide lovely ocean views. Opening hatches are plentiful and they provide great ventilation throughout the boat. The saloon has generous headroom and the interior feels very spacious and has the overall feeling of a bigger yacht. The large dining table is the centre piece of the saloon and has ample seating to comfortably accommodate a crew of hungry sailors.
The galley has been cleverly designed to maximise bench space for preparing meals. The stove features a smart folding cover and both of the sinks have fitted inserts to create additional bench space. The galley features twin stainless-steel sinks, a two-burner astove with oven and grill, a large under-bench fridge and a microwave.
Accommodation is very well catered for with two spacious double cabins. The owner’s cabin is forward and features a large double bed, one hanging locker and loads of storage in eight overhead cupboards. The aft cabin has a generous sized double bed, good storage options and the addition of an opening hatch provides additional light and good ventilation.
Free Spirits was commissioned in 2008 and has only had two owners since new. The Volvo motor and saildrive have been professionally maintained since new. An inspection of this superb yacht will not disappoint.
Optional Pen at RPYC available for members. (Conditions apply). Option to join the club and keep the yacht there is also posible.
In the current sellers market, Free Spirits represents exceptional value for money and will not last long on the market at the current asking price. So do not delay, call Chris now on 0428 444 727 to arrange an inspection.
